Job Summary

Silver Bullion Sdn Bhd is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the Finance Department in managing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple branches. This role requires a high level of integrity, precision, and the ability to work within a structured and compliance-driven environment.

Johor Bahru / Ipoh / Penang

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger
  • Record, review, and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank balances
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for bullion inventory (gold and silver)
  • Perform inter-branch reconciliations across Johor Bahru, Ipoh, and Penang branches
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records
  • Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify discrepancies and report findings to management in a timely manner
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting (experience in bullion industry is an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience handling full set of accounts is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and ability to coordinate with multiple branches
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
